| Ciri has been trained in Irish step, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, character, modern, Dance Sport ballroom, dance composition and as an instructor & choreographer.
In the spring of 2003 Ciri auditioned and was offered a job both as a dancer and a vocalist onto Dancing on Common Ground, a professional Irish Dance troupe traveling nationally and internationally. In July of 2003 Ciri received a folk arts grant from the State of Minnesota to receive specialized vocal training in Irish musical stylization.
Ciri has been a dance instructor since 1996. She also plays a role as a co-leader, dancer, and choreographer for the Woodridge Church Dance Ministry team.
She enjoys being “Miss Ciri” to all her dancers and couldn’t possibly imagine herself being happier doing anything other than teaching. |
